CURTIS ROBINSON, MD

Curtis Robinson, MD has spent over 25 years in family and preventive medicine. He started his career in teaching hospitals in Arizona and then worked in family health centers in California's Napa Valley. Dr. Robinson joined a small primary care practice in his hometown of Mill Valley, California in 2001 and continues to provide primary health care to patients in Marin County and the San Francisco Bay area. Dr. Robinson was one of the original founders and the 1st volunteer physician/CEO/CMO of the federally qualified health center Marin City Health and Wellness Center from 2006-2013. The health center was created to provide primary care services to homeless and public housing residents in southern Marin County. The clinic has since expanded to San Rafael and Bayview-Hunters Point in San Francisco and had an annual budget of just over 15 million dollars in 2018. Doctor Robinson has won numerous community service awards including Marin County's MLK Humanitarian Award. He has won best family physician in Marin County by the Pacific Sun in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 and best general practitioner by the Marin IJ in 2018. His education includes Mill Valley Nursery School, Homestead Elementary School, Mill Valley Middle School, Tamalpais High School, UCSB bachelors, UCLA medical school, UCD affiliated internship and residency program, and the University of Arizona fellowship in academic medicine. Current and Previous Boards include the American Board of Family Medicine, Marin County Office of Education, Marin Community Foundation, and Meritage Medical Network. Doctor Robinson is an expert in primary care medicine, skilled in primary care consulting and health care strategic planning, and has a broad understanding of government regulation and health tech innovation.
